Another of my favorites. I paid particular attention to color and edges in this one. I wanted to keep strong color in the shadows. The variation in edge quality was done with multiple transparencies linked to blend normals. I like that there is a combination of hard and soft edges, and that the soft edges are indistinct, yet have a certain crispness. Note also how the hands are loose blocks. This is an attempt to use primitives of 3d to block in forms analogous to a painter's brushstroke.
