of Transitalismania: C O U G A R In my Transitalismania, I have seen that The Cougar lives in Balance and provides Companionship on this Journey. Cougar's silent strength as a companion is characterized by an understated acknowledgement of Imago Dei in each of us, a deep understanding about degrees of separation, and in knowing The Center. Fundamentally solitary, this enigmatic character seeks the small, quiet paths and intimate connections and spaces of Life to explore with a Companion. When the Center is lost, Cougar will seek the high perches in the boughs of The Tree. From there, Raven tells stories of the bigger perspective and where Cougar should step carefully. Cougar's connection to the Earth and commitment to understanding This World is as strong as Raven's connection to the Sky and need to explore The Next World. Their interactions in the boughs of The Tree keep the energy flow between the two spheres of my life alive. Each relies on the other. About
the Images: Personal Reflections May's image, entitled Shadow Cat, captures the ethereal quality of the lurking Cougar, electrified vigilance. Cougar's energized connection with the Earth transforms flesh into a conduit for the Life Forces coursing through This World. Those eyes see beyond the thin veil of matter we pretend is What Is, right through to the Nexus, where all we ever were or will be is defined by our choices. June's image, entitled Emanations, reveals Cougar's relationship to The Center. From The Center, all things are knowable as emanating from Source. Cougar's domain is the Now Present Moment. Cougar's companions are never wont for a sense of deep connection and a unique resonance of spirit in Cougar's company. |
