- We would like to provide artists with a space to create their own web studios or gallery rooms here on Art.Net. We provide ftp accounts and disk space for artists. We are not in a position to provide dial in or shell access. Please read our site manifesto to see if your goals match ours here on Art.Net. If so, please continue reading.
- We'll work closely with artists to develop their studio and gallery room web pages, if they like. We can also create links to shows that artists have elsewhere on the web. You do not have to join to have our site link to yours.
- Artists can also curate a room in the Art.Net Gallery. This could be a place for an actual gallery, or a "group show" with pictures, sounds, videos, or poems from your favorite artists, etc (please get the artists' permission to hang their work first!).
If you would like to join us here on Art.Net and agree with our site manifesto, please fill out our application form with the requested information.
- The webmasters will contact you as soon as we receive your submission. Once accepted, we will help to get you up and running on Art.Net. There is a small annual membership fee of $60 that is requested upon joining our site. We also request the donation of one piece of your art while you are a member. Once a membership is received, we can proceed with building your Art.Net account here where you can begin showing your art.
- If you haven't got Internet access yet, we'll help you get set up with that first. Just call us at
(650) 691-3696 (USA).
- Once you learn how to curate your own space, you can help other artists come online to the Internet and the WWW (World Wide Web).
- Comments and suggestions are welcome. So please contact us if you have them.
thanks,
