Dear Fellow Artnet Artists:
I have only made two public addresses to the artists@art.net mailing =
list:
1. There is a deeper and more interesting event taking place than your
jittery storm tossed tea cup pornography with sugary images of women =
plunked like
de-eroticised cup cakes on your saucer.
Goto Nid Paloma's web site
which contains pictures that she has taken from her television with a
digital camera depicting a general strike in Puerto Rico that has been
blacked out of the news in Ontario Canada.
Why?
You might well ask if you were not so deeply enthralled by the thrill of
nudity.
2. Has any authority actually demanded that you censor yourself =
Betancourt
or are you making this all up?
All other responses that were posted in my name were actually posted by =
Mr.
Betancourt.
I apologize to you for attempting to manipulate the issue of censorship =
of
nudity in art towards censorship of the news in the media.
I have not, and will not disclose Mr. Betacourt's private correspondence =
to
me. I believe in a public and a private demeanor.
To those of you who are, justly offended, by what they have read in my
name... I am sorry that you have been exposed to such a vile and rancid =
humor.
: b.
Most of what was written was written without spell checking and without =
much thought. The private letters which Mr. Betancourt published do not =
contain "truth" they are works of fiction and of a sick imagination. My =
personal letters to Mr. Betancourt were intended as picadillos to prick =
him and to arouse his anger.
I apologize to Mr. Betancourt for my rudeness.
I also, and most importantly, wish to publicly apologize to Ms. Paloma =
for attracting unsolicited attention to her web site. I published her =
URL without permission. Ms. Paloma is the innocent victim of my =
thoughtlessness who I exposed to danger.
Sorry Nid.
