My sculptures are memories of my past as a dutiful daughter of a middle-class mid-western family. Surrealistic sentinels of my sheltered past. my sculptures have solidified in bronze fragil items of my heritage creating icons of my history. They stabilize me and give me strength in my unstable life as a rebellious artist with fragile health. The small book was a childhood travel diary. The glasses were my favorite pair of sunglasses that had become too scratched to wear. |
