Lily Pad

I love my laptop. I made this image while eating a sandwich and sipping a brew for lunch last week. I was playing with some of the features in Photoshop 6.0 and had quite a few colored footprints on the screen. I then used the "Sumi e" filter to blend everything together a bit and max distortion by applying the "polar coordinates" filter twice. I copied the right half of the image and then pasted it side by side after a horizontal flip. I rotated it 90 degrees counterclockwise and played around with hue, contrast and the airbrush to come up with this. Looks exactly like the lily pads floating in my backyard pond (if you use your imagination a bit).
