Non-Remembered Dream

This image is based on an excellent short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, called "Eyes of the Blue Dog", about a man and woman who only meet in their dreams. The image was originally a photo of a husky. I took the image into photoshop and colorized it blue, then I used the "dry brush" filter, contrast and brightness to separate the colors a bit. Messed with the perspective and finished it off with the "smudge" tool to give it that oil painted look.
