Some Eoeun said Sem Partoldi was the jolliest Eoeun of all.          Others, who had the pretension to consider themselves shrewd, said she was the very devil, then refused to clarify what they might mean by that.          She was different and it wasn’t because she had traveled to other lots and lived among outlanders and knew their ways.
