thanx - i did and pretty much decided lifeforms was more trouble than its
worth for me. But i'm still curious on others thoughts on it.

>What do you want out of an animation program with regards to dance?

i'm looking for a tool that with make human animation simpler - but i want
complete control over modeling the form. that is, i want to create my own
meshes and paint on them (with detailer) then make them dance. my
understanding is that i can't create a mesh in say poser or 3d studio
import it into lifeforms - animate it then export that back into 3d studio
for rendering? Is this true - or can i paint on a mesh and import it into
lifeforms for animation?

>But it all comes down to what you want to do with an animation program?

yes. that and time and cost and whether its stable on one's platform of choice.

i'm very interested in character studio - has anyone here used it for dance.
