Special Presentations of the Innovative use of Technology in the Arts
November-December 1996

In November and early December, Harvestworks will present LISTEN IN, a
lively mix of presentations by composers, choreographers, visual artists,
and other creators using new technologies in innovative ways. Presenters
may perform their work, demonstrate its new technical features, or even
allow the public to "jam" with the equipment. A special feature of this
edition of Listen In is "live! on the internet," a trio of presentations by
artists working on the cutting edge of telecommunications.

Unless otherwise noted, the events take place at Harvestworks, 596
Broadway, Suite 602, at Houston Street in New York City. Suggested
contribution is $5.00. For more information, call Carol Parkinson at
Harvestworks, 212-431-1130 x 12, or visit the Harvestworks web site at

Manhattan-based Troika Ranch dance theater company, discuss their work, in

allows a dancer's movement to control music, light, and video.
