This is a place where artists can share art that has been inspired by the recent tsunami which happened on December 26th, 2004 that affected most of southern Asia. Such a large catastrophy has been felt by all and with it, a need to share so that healing can begin.
Artists from around the world are working on projects to help build and restore while mourning the loss of life and loved ones. Hopefully this will be a place where we can share what has come to us through our hearts in relation to this happening.
And hopefully it will be a place where people can connect with their hearts. May peace be with us all during this great time of great need and recovery.
If you are an artist on the Internet and would like to share some of your art here, please send email to us via tsunami@art.net. This gallery is open to all artists, members of Art.Net as well as non-members.
So please come and join us and help us to pray for good things for this planet and all that live here.

MercyCorps.Org - Uses funding to help hire local people who have suffered from this disaster. This helps the local communities buy food and supplies needed while they rebuild their homes and communities. This also helps people to do something while they mourn ones lost so that they can start to heal. Doing something positive has great healing power as it helps us all to be in the moment and brings hope to our hearts.
American Red Cross - Accepts donations in $ for food, clothing and shelter for the Tsunami survivors. Has Tsunami Relief updates, photo essays and FAQ's about the relief effort.
