Susan Fateh on Sheila Marbain
The first silk screen print I made with Sheila Marbain measured three by
eight feet and we prined thirteen of them during a brutal August
thunderstorm, rain so torrential it leaked through the studio roof
and dripped unceremoniously around us. Sheila's unbounded enthusiasm
in tackling this project was quite infectious!. Since then, we have made
many prints together, on paper, on Plexiglas, on wood... but always in the
same playful spirit of sheer delight.
