When I regained
enough of myself to be aware of my position and to know that the sound, the
only sound, that I could hear was my rapid breathing I got to my knees. I stood,
leaning into the rock wall.
The arena was
still and silent. My head was still; the difference was gone.
I waited. I
waited longer than I thought I needed to to see what would occur. To see if
the source lines should make known to me anything else which should be done.
For I had discovered
we were not separate from them. We were both in and of this planet. We were
this planet.
Silence continued.
Silence was all that there was.
I located the
opening into the crack and made my way through it.
