Julia's comments about the piece:

This was a quick sketch made in my skylit painting studio one super sunny afternoon. There are no windows in the studio, so when the sun beats down through the skylight there is a greenhouse effect and the studio gets quite hot--too hot. This painting was an expression of how this hot sun felt on my skin.
