The crossover NFT began as an oil painting, thinned dripping paint on a cradled brich panel. Then I applied a digital drip algorithm to make the skull drip even further, implode, explode, and reveal its own origins in a 3D model of a human skull.
Now it lives in digital form as a video with an eerie swelling soundtrack generated by custom code that converges sound particles through strange harmonic spaces to finally resolve. Unlockable content includes high-res a digital version of the painting, a full-resolution render of the video, and the source code to the soundtrack generator.
Ochre Nocturne's soundtrack reminisces back to a time when I was composing nocturnes every solstice. This one starts with a sequence of leading fourths taken from my winter solstice nocturne from 2005.
