I
see Tibet as a balance of spirituality and labor. Houses and haystacks
decorated with prayer flags, monks and pilgrims with beads and prayer
wheels are common sights. The people were kind and welcoming with
invitations to share tea in farmhouses. As the women walk to work
in the fields their hands are constantly busy spinning wool or knitting.
This series of Tibetan images are platinum prints on handmade Tibetan
paper and then imbedded in paper that I have made. |
