This picture shows how I fired the following pieces:
Dark Blue Pointed Form, Blue Boat with Three Ribs and Blue Boat Form
( see also pictures in '96 page).
These where pieces that I had begun at Pilchuck, in winter of '95.
If a piece is tall, I put its mold over it, so it won't slump too much in one direction.
This picture shows Form with Loose Ends and Blue and Yellow Form while I was working on them.
Parts of Boat Form can also be seen in the background.
I didn't have a mold over the big cone on Form with Loose Ends, so it slumped over.
If you have a kiln with very uneven heat circulation this can be a big problem.
