Each group is led by two facilitators. . . one delving into the subject
through daily talks, exercises and explorations. . .the other supervising
the group as a work unit, focusing on projects that contribute to the
improvement of Harbin Hot Springs. The complete immersion into a subject
through both work and study is a powerful learning process that lets you
apply new insights and test new skills on a daily basis.
Your work time (32 hours a week) covers your tuition; meals, bodywork and
shared lodging are just $700 for four weeks. Enrollment is limited to twelve
individuals. Groups are forming now.
Whether approached as a one-month sabbatical from your routine, or as a
program to accompany a significant transition, this is a unique opportunity
that could make a difference in the quality of your life.
For more information or an application, call Carole Sheffield at
(707) 987-2477 ext. 110 (Monday-Friday, 10-4). Or write to her
c/o Harbin Hot Springs.

in the restaurant. Then treat yourself to an hour-long massage with
one of our gifted practitioners. All for just $85. Or just $149
double-occupancy (1 basic room, 2 breakfasts, 2 massages). Available
Monday through Thursday (except Holidays) through March 21, 1996.
Reservations are required, so make plans now.
Winters tend to be quite mild at Harbin, often gracing campers with sunny
days and crisp, star-filled nights. And there's nothing like slipping
into a sleeping bag after a long soak in the warm pool.
Campers at Harbin
also get an extra bonus this season... reduced rates. Through March 21,
1996, overnight camping is the same price as a day visit (holidays excluded).
Pay for the day... stay for the night. Then use the money you save to buy
a nice hot breakfast in the Stonefront Restaurant. Don't miss winter at Harbin!
The perfect way to begin a weekend retreat at Harbin is with our Friday Night
Affair series. Most Friday evenings you will have the opportunity to meet
popular teachers and lecturers from the Bay Area and around the world. It's
a great chance to sample workshops while interacting with Harbin guests and
residents in a relaxed, fun environment.
FNA begins at 8pm and is free to Harbin guests. Locations vary, so check
postings upon your arrival. Instructors interested in the Friday Night Affair should call Sylvia Price
at (707) 987-9169.
Please check the posted announcements upon your arrival for up-to-date

Over the years, our weekly Unconditional Dance has earned its place as our
most popular weekly event. We call it the Sock Hop with Soul because this
is one dance where you can really get it down... shake it out... move
it around... without wondering if you're "doing it right". (All in an
alcohol-free and smoke-free environment!) Due to workshop schedules
we moved the dance from Tuesday to Thursday, and it worked out well for
everyone. So mark your calendar: Unconditional Dance has officially moved
to Thursday evenings. It happens from 8:00 to 10:30 pm in the Harbin
Conference Center. (Check bulletin boards for last minute changes.) With a
different DJ every week, it's full of surprises. Check it out.
Imagine leaving your daily routine behind for an entire month with the only
focus on developing a better you. Imagine doing it with a group of
like-minded individuals directed by a dedicated, creative facilitator.
Then imagine it happening in the beauty and peace that is Harbin Hot Springs.
Introducing the Harbin Work/Study Program. Throughout 1996 we will be
offering one-month intensive programs, each focusing on a specific area of
interest. Creativity as Spirituality. Detoxifying for Health.
Meditation through Movement. And more.
