Eating healthy

Breakfast and dinner are served daily in our restaurant. Our natural food store and office store carry sandwiches, snacks and beverages. Refrigerator space and cooking facilities are available for guests. Meat, fish and poultry are not allowed in the guest kitchen in any form. Due to fire risk, cooking with outdoor campstoves is prohibited. Supermarket shopping is available four miles away in Middletown.

Our friendly Restaurant

Please note the following schedule changes that affect the restaurant and health food store:

The Stonefront Restaurant will close after breakfast on Monday, January 8 th for cleaning and re-open on Friday, 8 am, January 12th. The entire building, including the library and Stonefront Upper will also be closed during this time.

Harbin Health Food Store is scheduled for some painting and maintenance work this winter which will require that we close for several days. Since we don't yet know what date this can happen, please check before your visit if you plan to shop here.

About Children

A baby fawn at Harbin

Families may camp away from the Mainside area. Be aware that children under the age of 18 are not allowed in rooms, and their use of Mainside areas and the pools is limited and restricted to daylight hours. Children under the age of 18 may use only the large cold swimming pool and warm heart-shaped pool. Due to the rustic nature of Harbin's grounds, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
