I started painting dogs when Delta got bone cancer and lost her leg. I did the first painting while she was in surgery, starting with a photo of her looking majestic, but it came out quite sad. Then I painted her every day while she recovered, and that's how I learned to paint dogs. Eventually I branched out to paint cats, giraffes, and more. Here's a selection of recent paintings.
