For those interested in/coming to IDAT99,
I will be directing a pre-conference lab on February 25, 9:30 to 4 pm, with
a small exhibit later that evening at 9 pm. Maria de los Angeles Romero
will be conducting it with me.

The Lab, "Lively Bodies Lively Machines" will explore the issue of time and
narration in digitally mediated movement/performance and digitally
corrupted space. We will set up shop to explore interactive processing
methods based on narrative and movement material participants will bring to
the lab. We will look at the role of the performer as Midi.
Applicants are welcome to get in touch with me so we can pre-plan the
workshop content.

During the conference, I am scheduled to participate in a roundtable
discussion/presentation on "Content and the Seeming Loss of Spirituality in
Technologically Mediated Works", and I may speak about my research in
computer theology.
