I don't think this is true. I'm using the registered version of QT3 (costs
$30) and MoviePlayer that comes with it will let you resize the movie to
whatever size you wish (including non-standard sizes) and then export as a
sorenson movie. This makes buying the QT software a really good deal! If
you have 3.0 Movie Player and you haven't paid the registration fee, all
these options are disabled.
