FOR ILLUSTRATORS, DESIGNERS, and DESKTOP PUBLISHERS
Monday, August 4, 1997 7:00PM - 9:30PM

Portfolio/Resume Workshop for Illustrators, Designers and Desktop Publishers.
Did you know that as a Graphic Designer your resume needs to look different
from the average resume? What should your portfolio look like? Where do you go
for job information in the Bay Area? How do you get an internship? We will
look at sample resumes and portfolios, and talk about goals, job-hunting,
creating portfolio pieces, resources and interviews.
We will also have a brief critique on finished or unfinished art work you may
want to include in your portfolio. Please bring your resume and any printouts,
presentation materials, or existing portfolio.
Beginners are welcome. Sponsored by Webgrrls SF.

- the name of the workshop you'd like to attend

- your snail mail address

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. You will
receive a confirmation email indicating that you are registered to attend.
Pre-payment for workshops is required.
Payment
-------
Valerie must receive your check by July 31 to hold your space. Please make
your check payable to JENNIFER HUGHES, who handles Webgrrls finances, for $25.

Refunds will be given only if cancellation is received up to 72 hours before
the event. No refunds for no-shows.
Who May Attend

Both Webgrrls members and non-members are welcome. Non-member registrations
are limited to 1/3 of the available seats.
