The Paintings
"Transcendence" 1990
Melinda Camber Porter
Inspired by the early 20th century French painters whom she
studied in the museums and galleries of Paris where she lived
during the 1970s and 1980s, Camber Porter uses vivid colors and impressionistic strokes to
explore ambitious themes.
Primarily autobiographical, her subject matter is the
multifaceted nature of a woman's psyche, self-definition, and love relationships.
