This magical piece features Mr. Tar's daughter, Julia, doing her school work. One of the few pieces that he was able to bring with him during his escape from Hungary -- where a large collection of his work remains -- this piece is a family treasure.

Mr. Tar completed this work in 1954. The original is a combination of watercolor and gouache paints set on fine paper.
