• COLLEAGUESHIP

  As a member of PRSG you join a group of more than 200 sculptors all of whom are working to further the public awareness of sculpture and the interest of sculptors. Each member receives a complete list of of fellow members. This list represents thousands of person-years of experience in materials, processes, and professional practice. When you have questions, chances are your fellow members have the answers.

• SLIDE REGISTRY

  PRSG maintains a slide registry of its current membership. Each member has a sheet of up to 20 slides of their work, one 8 1/2 x 11" color xerox of work and a resume. This registry is available to members and curators, galleries and collectors.

• EXHIBITIONS

  Each PRSG member is eligible to enter the juried exhibitions that PRSG sponsors. PRSG sponsors 4 exhibitions per year at the Contract Design Center in San Francisco and other exhibitions at sites around the Pacific Rim.

• WEB SITE

  The principal goal of the PRSG web site is to povide a virtual space where sculptors from all around the Pacific Rim can come together to pursue PRSG's stated mission:
  • It provides a pictorial record of real PRSG exhibits.
    
  • It provides a venu for virtual exhibits on the world wide web, exhibits that exist only on the web.
    
  • The PRSG web site is an electronic version of the slide registry. The web site shows slides of member's scuptures and lists their biographical information.
    
  • The PRSG web site provides news and information about the organization and its activities.

• NEWS LETTER

  PRSG publishes a newsletter six times a year. The newsletters contain exhibition opportunities, announcements, member news and articles of interest to sculptors as well as the minutes of the past meeting and the agenda for the upcoming meeting.

• MEETINGS

  PRSG holds meetings every two month. The meetings handle the business of the organization, news of upcoming events and generally have a presentation about issues of interest to the artist community.

• RESOURCES

  As PRSG continues to grow we add knowledge that is available to members. There are publicity resources available for members who wish to do publicity for shows in which they are involved. There are samples of Calendar Listings, Press Releases, Public Service announcements and pitch letters. There are also mailing list of print media and radio/tv media that are available to members on mailing labels for a small fee. As PRSG grows it will continue to expand the resources available to its members.
