Desparation
Scrambled in this dream
crossing a road
brick barriers everywhere
like pealing the air
to place walls of impenetrable sheets
wrap up and forget
goals like a fallen dawn
no sunset
or stars to dream upon
the constellations dance
pounding me into the ground
with laughs of mockery
black midnight spews mire
the dire needs continue
to breed
to bask in this soul
like the seed in the raw earth.
