Owen Lee Barnett... HELLO THERE... Welcome to my Studio! Ever since I first drew a picture of 'Popeye' when I was four years old, I've realized that I was blessed with a gift which has brought me real happiness and satisfaction. My desire is to use this gift to bring happiness and satisfaction to others as well... Here I am standing in front of my studio holding my 12 month old daughter, B.J. I continue my work by exploring some of the more traditional themes of the 'Americana' of the 'old west', and bringing together some of the faces and images of times past so that we may never forget our roots and to continue to learn and to build from that past... Below are some of the works that I have completed over the last year or so... The chosen medium here is a combination of both pastel and charcoal.
