We spotted this fellow on the trail down from Timpanogos Cave in American Fork, Utah. He was begging for a snack but we obeyed the park rules and didn't give him any of our trail mix. The photo was snapped with an Olympus digital camera and manipulated using Photoshop. I increased contrast until I had several strong solid patterns and then colorized it by lassoing the sections and deleting to the desired background color. I finished off by seleting each section and applying the bevel tool from Alien Skin's Blackbox software.
