Art on the Net truly represents the power and promise of modern communications to me. I don't think any of the artists who have or will participate in the growth of this site would have imagined that such an incredible medium would be available to us all for sharing our art with the world before The Web. The fact that a community of artists has grown out of this chaos only reinforces my enthusiasm for the future of The Net.
As a budding new media artist, I feel that Art on the Net has provided the perfect delivery mechanism for my work. Prior to creating my studio here, I could only dream about presenting my art to a world-wide audience. This effort has become a self-sustaining labor of love, and each new incarnation of my studio, Imago Dei- each new image that finds its home here- represents a step in my own personal awakening to a creativity I might not otherwise have so actively nurtured if Art on the Net had not been here. In many ways, I owe my art to this resource.
I hope to continue gaining inspiration from my fellow Art-on-the-Nettists as the years roll on. I have every intention of making this place the space where my art debuts, and hopefully in the process bring beauty to the screens of Netizens around the world...
